My Experience as a General Practitioner

I, as a Fellow of the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine (FJSIM), have practiced entire fields of internal medicine. I have also seen more than 20,000 patients per year, and gained experience not just in Internal Medicine but also in Dermatology, Allergy, Urology and ENT. I, as a General Practitioner, examine your health condition as a whole and try to disentangle multiple medical problems you may have.

You do not need appointment. Please visit our clinic during the reception time, which is 10:30 – 14:00 and 15:30 – 18:30 on weekdays.

Please note the following.

  1. We accept cash in Japanese yen only; we do not accept credit cards.
  2. Please inform us at the reception if you have insurance card valid in this country.
  3. We are unable to deal with Emergency Medicine, Surgery, Psychiatry, and Pediatrics.
  4. We can conduct blood and urine sample tests, and ECG. But we do not have X-ray or ultrasound devices.
  5. We can speak only Japanese and English. If you cannot speak either of them, we advise you to use the medical information service run by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government (Tel: 03-5285-8181) (English, Chinese, Korean, Thai, and Spanish available).

If you do not have Japanese insurance card, you have to pay about 3000 yen for physical examination, and 700 yen or more for prescription medication. It costs more for blood and urine sample tests. You also have to pay at the pharmacy to get the medicine; the cost depends on the medicine.

When you visit our clinic, the receptionist will hand out the medical interview sheet in English. Please describe your symptoms briefly. Also describe your past medical history, any medication you are currently taking, and allergic reaction to drugs.
Please wait for your turn, and enter the consultation room when your name is called.
After the consultation, you pay for the fee and receive the prescription form.
The receptionist will show you the nearby pharmacy.

Please feel relax. We will do our best to make you feel comfortable in our clinic.
